Diljit Dosanjh
Diljit Dosanjh is an Indian Punjabi singer, actor and television presenter from Punjab, India. He is associated with bhangra and Punjabi music, and he is recognised as one of the leading artists in the Punjabi music industry.
Music career
He is born in Dosanjh Kalan, a village in Jalandhar, Punjab. His first recorded mainstream performance is the solo track and music video Ishq Da Uda Ada, which appears on a 2000 album produced by Finetone Cassettes.
Film work
Dosanjh also acts in Punjabi films. Among his better-known films are Jatt & Juliet, Jatt & Juliet 2 and Sardaar Ji, which are described as being among the most successful Punjabi films in history.
