Diesel

Diesel is the stage name of Mark Lizotte, an Australian musician, songwriter and guitarist from Fall River, Australia. He works in blues, blues rock, pop rock and rock.

Career

He records under both his own name and the Diesel alias, and has released nine albums across those identities. He also releases two albums with Johnny Diesel & The Injectors. Two of his albums reach number one in Australia. As a performer, he is best known as a singer and guitarist, but he also plays bass guitar, drums, percussion and keyboards.

Diesel also appears on several albums by his brother-in-law, the rock singer Jimmy Barnes.
