Desert Storm

Desert Storm are a UK stoner rock and metal band from Oxford, active since 2007. The group consists of Elliot Cole and Ryan Cole. Their sound is rooted in hard rock, heavy metal, sludge metal, southern rock and stoner metal.

The band builds on heavy riffs and groove-based playing, with sludge and blues influences appearing in their material. One of their releases, Forked Tongues, is noted for having a wide dynamic range.

Desert Storm form part of the Oxford rock scene and play as a live band with a history of appearances across the UK. They have performed at the Bulldog Bash festival and have shared bills with Orange Goblin, Taint, Weedeater, Zoroaster, CKY, Winnebago Deal, Firebird and Black Spiders.
