Denison Witmer is an American indie singer-songwriter from Lancaster, United States. He is associated with folk, indie and acoustic music, and he works under the label Havre de Grace Music Publishing.

Career

Witmer first releases a cassette in 1995 called My Luck, My Love. He goes on to release a number of albums and EPs, including Recovered. His later studio albums include Are You A Dreamer? (2005), Carry the Weight (2008), The Ones Who Wait (2012) and Denison Witmer (2013).

Collaborations and side projects

He also releases an LP with his side project, The River Bends, where he plays guitar and sings with a backing band that includes members of the Philadelphia alt-country group One Star Hotel.

Are You A Dreamer? is produced by Don Peris of The Innocence Mission and features Sufjan Stevens. The album receives strong reviews from publications including Pitchfork Media and Entertainment Weekly.
