Defenders of Style
Defenders of Style are a UK hip-hop group from Leeds, West Yorkshire, formed in 2001. The group is built around four MCs and is made up of Jack Danz, Tongue Tied, Prys and Jay (L.I.P) Snow. Chenai joins the line-up as a female vocalist, and DJ Knight also forms part of the act.
The group develops a following across northern England and gains attention within the UK hip-hop scene. A significant part of that profile comes from support slots with a range of artists, including Edo G, Foreign Beggars, The I.R.S, Jack Flash, Jehst, Jenna G, Kano, Masta Ace, Sonnyjim and Task Force.
