Deadwax

Deadwax is a London-based band formed in 2008. The line-up consists of Richard Power on vocals, Dave Robinson on guitar, James Richards on bass and Tom Edwards on drums.

The group’s sound draws on a mix of older and newer influences, with references ranging from The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and Oasis to Supergrass. Their music is described as built around melody and groove, and they are known for live performances in and around central London.

Deadwax is an active part of the local gigging scene and the band is associated with early interest from major labels. Its first album is planned as a debut LP.
