Dead!

Dead! are a five-piece group formed in 2012 from the remains of four other bands. The line-up consists of Alex Mountford on vocals, Louis Matlock on guitar, Sam Matlock on guitar, Sam Chappell on bass and Stephen North on drums.

The band takes inspiration from Dia de los Muertos, rock and roll and pop stars, and their sound is described as combining elements of My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday and Lostprophets. They play punk rock, emo, rock, punk and indie.

Dead! play live across the UK and perform at major festivals. They play the Isle of Wight Festival three times, open the main stage for Foo Fighters, and win the opening slot on the main stage at Takedown Festival, where they support Canterbury, Deaf Havana, Lower Than Atlantis and Skindred. They also tour the UK and over-sell Southampton Joiners.
