De Temps Antan
De Temps Antan is a Québec folk group active since 2004. The line-up includes Pierre-Luc Dupuis, Éric Beaudry, David Boulanger and André Brunet.
The group works from the traditional repertoire of Québec and performs material drawn from both older songs and contemporary repertoire. Its sound centres on fiddle, accordion, harmonica, guitar, bouzouki and other acoustic instruments.
The group’s performances are marked by humour, singing in unison and sudden changes in arrangement and pace. Its members are known for exploring Québec musical traditions while keeping the music lively and dance-oriented.
