Danny Vaughn

Danny Vaughn is a rock vocalist from Cleveland, United States, born in 1961. He performs under his own name and is associated with hard rock and melodic rock as well as rock and classic rock.

Career

Vaughn performs with a number of rock acts, including Waysted, Tyketto, Vaughn, Snake Oil & Harmony, Flesh & Blood, and From the Inside. He also sings with the less widely known groups From the Inside and Flesh and Blood. In addition to his band work, he releases music as a solo artist.

In 2003, Vaughn plays Lancelot in Gary Hughes’s rock opera Once and Future King Part I. His backing band later includes guitarist Tony Marshall, guitarist Pat Heath, bassist Steve McKenna and drummer Lee Morris. This lineup records and releases The Traveller.

Solo releases and live work

Vaughn’s solo catalogue includes Soldiers & Sailors On Riverside, Fearless, Reprise, Standing Alone and The Road Less Travelled. Reprise is a double CD set that combines his first two solo albums with bonus material. He also tours with The Ultimate Eagles.

Tours and collaborations

Before the release of The Traveller, Vaughn and Tony Marshall promote the album with a two-man acoustic tour supporting Journey’s UK tour. The full band then tours the UK, and later performs two special shows that lead to the release of the unplugged The Road Less Travelled. He also appears on Gary Hughes’s project alongside other rock performers from that circle.
