Danny T
Danny T is a Leeds-born dub and dancehall DJ and producer who launches into the scene in 2006 and becomes active in Australia, particularly Brisbane. He works across DJ sets, production and remixes, and also mixes on Triple J. He plays a range of club-oriented styles including tech, jackin and tribal sounds, and performs weekly at Monastery and Empire, as well as across Australia.
DJ work and live sets
He supports a number of dance music acts including Switch, Lee Mortimer, MSTRKRFT, Sinden, Fakeblood, Riva Starr, Don Rimini, Malente, Claude Von Stroke, Format B, A-Trak, Mightyfools and Bart B More. He also appears at major festivals including Future Music, Goodvibrations, Parklife and Stereosonic. Other live work includes warm-up sets for Crookers at both Brisbane shows and closing sets after Bloody Beetroots and Steve Aoki during their Outrage tour.
Releases and collaborations
Danny T’s original release Chico comes out on BamBam Musik and spends 12 weeks in the ARIA Chart Top 50, reaching number 10, while also spending five weeks in the Beatport Electro House Top 100. The track receives international support, including airplay on Kissy Sell Out’s Radio 1 show, and remixes from Malente, The Hump Day Project, Tom Piper and a remix collaboration from the LNA Crew, featuring Baby Gee, Habebe and Benny Electric.
He also collaborates with Chris James of Potty Mouth Music on the Tales of the Middle East EP, which includes the tracks Balkan Blues, Return to Klezmer and Spartan Games and is released on UK label Dub Noir. His other planned releases include a solo EP with a tropical influence and a collaboration with fellow Australian Wongo on OneLove.

Danny T is voted number 9 in the Australian DJ in the 2009 InTheMix Top 50 DJ Poll.
