Damage is a UK R&B and garage boy band that is active from 1996 to 2001. The group features Jade Jones and Coree Richards.

Career

Damage emerges in the mid-1990s and reaches its peak in the late 1990s. The group builds its early profile with a first Top 20 UK hit, Love 2 Love, in 1996, followed later that year by Forever. Its self-titled debut album appears in 1997 and produces two Top 10 singles: Love Guaranteed and a cover of Eric Clapton’s Wonderful Tonight.

After the collapse of its record company, the band takes an extended break before returning in 2000 with its second album, Since You’ve Been Gone. That release produces five further Top 40 hits.

Membership

The band includes Andrez Harriott, Jade Jones, Coreé Richards, Rahsaan J Bromfield and Noel Simpson. Jones and Harriott later become members of Cherryblackstone.
