CQ

CQ is a Dutch skacore band from Alphen aan den Rijn, formed in 2002. The group has no recorded musical experience before starting, and later becomes known in its local area for humorous, often nonsensical songwriting and for live performances that include comedy and other antics beyond the music itself. The band disbands after the disappearance of lead singer and guitarist Gert-Jan.

Members

The line-up includes Gert-Jan on vocals and guitar, Sjoerd on vocals and bass guitar, Steef on drums and backing vocals, and Vincent, who has no stated musical role. After the band ends, Steef goes on to play drums in the metal band Gnadab, while Sjoerd plays drums in a band that does not yet have a name.
