Conscious Pilot is a name used by several acts, including a Glasgow-based punk band formed in 2023, an American instrumental rock-fusion group, and an American dubstep producer and DJ from Pennsylvania.

Dubstep producer and DJ

The dubstep artist Conscious Pilot is based in Pennsylvania and begins in drum and bass before moving into dubstep as the style develops from the UK garage scene in London. The project starts pushing minimal, sub-bass-led dubstep in 2005. It also has a radio show on Sub.FM and performs at major events.

The dubstep output includes charting vinyl and digital releases across labels such as Shift, TrillBass, Life After Math, Basshead, Dubline Recordings, Section 8, and Z-Audio. Releases listed include Hash N Hydro and Night Owl in 2008, How High in 2009, Disco 808 in 2010, Work It with Hulk and Gangsta Shit with Megalodon in 2011, and Like This with Megalodon featuring Doctor, 1995 VIP, Foreign Slang, Foreign Slang VIP, Dreadmill and Fighting Chants between 2012 and 2013.

Punk band

The Glasgow punk band Conscious Pilot is founded by Joe Laycock and Jack Sharp as a successor to Cheap Teeth. It features members of Catholic Action and Pressure Retreat. The band focuses on immersive, beat-driven soundscapes and lyrical material, and its first release is Halfway to Hockney, recorded by Matt Peel at the Nave in Leeds.
