Conan Gray

Conan Gray is an American singer-songwriter and social media personality from Lemon Grove, United States. He is born in 1998 and grows up in a family that moves from California to Hiroshima, Japan, before returning to California and later settling in Georgetown, Texas.

Career

He begins his career on YouTube under the name ConanxCanon before changing to Conan Gray. While building an audience online, he releases original songs, including Idle Town, which becomes the lead single from his debut EP Sunset Season.

He signs with Republic Records in 2018, before the release of Sunset Season. The EP is supported by the singles Generation Why and Crush Culture.

Albums and singles

Gray begins releasing singles for his debut studio album Kid Krow in 2019. The album includes Maniac, which becomes his best-known single from that period, and Wish You Were Sober. Kid Krow debuts at number 5 on the Billboard 200. After its commercial performance, Apple Music names him an Up Next artist and releases a short documentary about him.

His second album, Superache, is released in 2022. It is preceded by several clues and teasers around its announcement and rollout, and includes the single Memories, which gains substantial streaming success.

In 2024 he releases Found Heaven, which debuts at number 14 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The album is preceded by the singles Never Ending Song, Winner, and Killing Me, and is followed by Lonely Dancers and a supporting tour.

He later releases a holiday single in 2024, then a deluxe version of Kid Krow for its fifth anniversary. He then begins the rollout for Wishbone, released in 2025. Its singles include This Song, which appears with a music video featuring Conan Gray and Corey Fogelmanis, and Vodka Cranberry.
