Circus Envy is a UK folk group formed in Hull in 2005. The band is active from 2005 to the present and performs an acoustic-based style that sits within folk and alternative folk.
Style and instrumentation
The group works with a line-up built mainly around acoustic instruments. Its sound brings traditional elements into modern songs, using bouzoukis, mandolins and cajon alongside guitars and bass.
