Circo

Circo is a Puerto Rican rock band formed in 2001. The group is led by José David Pérez, known as Fofé, who previously sings with El Manjar de los Dioses before leaving that group. He forms Circo with Egui Santiago, the drummer and keyboard player from his former band, and the group also includes the former bass player of Bayanga and the former guitar player of Dosis.

Career

Circo enters the Puerto Rican rock scene with a lineup drawn from several local bands. Its first album, No Todo Lo Que Es POP Es Bueno, follows soon after the group forms and earns a Latin Grammy nomination. The band then signs with Universal Mexico, which reissues the album with two new songs and a five-track live bonus release. In 2005, Circo issues its second album, En El Cielo De Tu Boca, which receives another nomination.
