Chuck Strangers is a rapper and producer associated with underground hip hop and Pro Era. He is rooted in a 1990s-influenced New York boom-bap style, and his writing and production draw on the sound and atmosphere of that scene while also moving beyond it.

Solo work

His debut solo album, Consumers Park, appears in 2018. He later follows it with A Forsaken Lover’s Plea, described as his most complete solo project since that debut. That record centres on a troubled relationship and brings together candid rhymes with a wider range of production than his earlier work.
