Cesare Cremonini is an Italian singer-songwriter from Bologna, Italy. Born in 1980, he begins his career as the leader of Lùnapop, a successful Italian pop band active between 1999 and 2002. After the group disbands in 2002, he pursues a solo career.

Career

Cremonini leads Lùnapop before the band breaks up in 2002. His former bandmate Nicola “Ballo” Balestri later joins him in his new band, alongside other musicians. In his solo work, he records for Logico srl and works in pop.

His solo discography includes the studio albums Bagus, Maggese and Il primo bacio sulla Luna, the live album 1+8+24, and the compilation 1999-2010 The Greatest Hits. His singles include Gli Uomini E Le Donne Sono Uguali, Vieni A Vedere Perché, PadreMadre, Latin Lover, Gongi Boy, Marmellata #25, Le tue parole fanno male, Dev'essere Così, Dicono di me, Le Sei e Ventisei, Figlio di un Re, Il Pagliaccio, Mondo and Hello.
