Cerebral Ballzy
Cerebral Ballzy is a punk band from Brooklyn, New York, United States. The group forms in 2008 and is active until 2015. It is a New York-based punk band associated with punk, hardcore punk, hardcore, skate punk and lo-fi.
Career and releases
The band releases its self-titled debut album in 2011. The album appears in full as an online preview on the Revolver Magazine website before its release. Cerebral Ballzy also receives attention for its debut single, Insufficient Fare.

The group is known for its interest in 1980s punk, and for themes and imagery connected with drinking, girls, pizza and skateboarding. Its live performances are described as energetic.
Name
According to vocalist Honor Titus, the band name comes from a friend who drops a slice of pizza on a train track, picks it up and is then described as “ballsy”; the friend responds with “Cerebral Ballsy!”.
