carré is a Los Angeles-based producer, DJ, label head and co-founder of Fast At Work, an underground party series and label. She works in dubstep, leftfield techno, low-end electronic music and broken beat-inflected club sounds, and her DJ sets are known for a subversive approach to those styles.

Releases

Her debut release is the two-track EP Tilted/Fainting, issued on Darwin’s Berlin label SPE:C. That record is named by Mixmag as one of the best EPs of 2023. She follows it with Soft Fascination, a three-sided release built around modern low-end tendencies and broken beat percussion, which also launches the Fast At Work imprint. Another EP, Air Sign, is set to appear on SPE:C and features three tripped-out wobblers. She also releases plotting smth on the French dubstep label Bait.

Fast At Work and DJ work

Fast At Work is described as a future-minded underground party series and label, and it is called one of Los Angeles’ best warehouse parties. carré establishes her ground as a DJ through that scene. She plays in support of Special Request, Objekt, Darwin, TSVI, Roza Terenzi and DJ Python, among others.

Recent activity

She makes her Berlin, Paris and London debuts, adding to her profile as a producer and DJ within the underground bass and techno circuit.
