Carousel Circus

Carousel Circus are a four-piece group from Birmingham who play a blend of rock, blues and country. They form in the summer of 2004 and perform under their own independent label. The group describe themselves as four friends who play together, and their live work places them in a cowpunk-leaning acoustic and rock context.

Live work and performances

Carousel Circus share stages with Levellers, The Rifles, Example, Hawkwind, N-Dubz and Bez of Happy Mondays. They play at venues including Camden Barfly, Birmingham Barfly, Islington Academy and Birmingham Academy. Their performances also reach local and national audiences through BBC Radio and Kerrang! Radio.

Recordings

Their debut album is Russian 1, which is available through iTunes. The group also plans a further pair of albums while continuing on their independent label.
