Carola Pisaturo

Carola Pisaturo is an Italian electronic music DJ, producer and label founder associated with techno, minimal, house and electronic music. She is born in Rome and moves to Naples at the age of eight, later leaving home at eighteen and travelling north, where she becomes involved in dance music and electronic sounds.

Career

Her DJ career starts in 1997, and from then she explores a range of sounds as part of her own musical development. In 2002 she graduates in sound engineering and works on studio productions in Rome and Milan before returning to Naples. There she builds a studio in her apartment and develops a style described as sleek and funky, shaped by her own production work.

Releases and labels

Her first releases appear in 2005 on Bush and Southsoul Records. She then sets up Titbit Music, a label focused on funky minimal techno, and also establishes the net label Claque Musique as a platform for both established artists and new names.

Base

Pisaturo lives in Naples and continues to work in electronic music from there.
