Callow Youth

Callow Youth is an independent four-piece band from Greater Manchester, formed in 2017 by school friends from Tameside and Failsworth. The group is made up of Alfie on vocals and guitar, Tom on guitar, Nathan on bass and Connor on drums.

The band starts out as a young local act developing its material while building experience through live shows. Connor begins playing drums when the group forms. Their early profile grows through self-released recordings and word of mouth, alongside local radio support and attention through social media.

Recordings and early release

The band releases a three-track EP called Vibe Demo's, recorded in January 2018 as its first demo session. The release helps to establish the group beyond its immediate local scene and supports its early live reception.

Style and activity

Callow Youth is associated with alternative and rock music, and is described as an indie band with a focus on youthful energy and emotional delivery. The group remains active from 2017 onwards.
