Caamp

Caamp is an American band formed in Athens, United States, and active since 2013. The group plays americana and indie folk.

Formation and line-up

The project begins with childhood friends Taylor Meier and Evan Westfall, who meet at summer camp while they are in middle school. In 2013, Meier starts performing in coffee shops in Athens while studying at Ohio University. The band later adds bass player Matt Vinson and Joseph Kavalec on keyboards. The current members are The Wonderfool, Liz Fisher, Taylor Meier, Matt Vinson and Evan Westfall.

Releases

Caamp releases four albums. Its self-titled debut appears in 2016. In 2018 the band issues the six-song EP Boys. The second album, By and By, follows in 2019. The third studio album, Lavender Days, appears in 2022 and is preceded by the singles “Believe”, “Apple Tree Blues” and “Lavender Girl”.
