Bush
Bush are an English rock band formed in London in 1992. The group is active from 1992 to the present and is associated with alternative rock, grunge, hard rock, noise rock, post-grunge and post-hardcore.
Line-up
The band’s membership includes Gavin Rossdale, Dave Parsons, Nigel Pulsford, Robin Goodridge, Chris Traynor, Corey Britz, Sacha Puttnam and Joshy Soul. In the current line-up described in the input, Rossdale performs lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Traynor is lead guitarist, Britz plays bass and Nik Hughes plays drums.
Career
Bush achieve major commercial success outside the United Kingdom with their debut album Sixteen Stone in 1994, which is certified six-times multi-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The band later reaches number one on the album chart with Razorblade Suitcase in 1996. They also record numerous top-ten singles on the Billboard rock charts.
After disbanding in 2002, Bush reunite in 2010 and continue to release studio albums, including The Sea of Memories, Man on the Run, Black and White Rainbows, The Kingdom, The Art of Survival and I Beat Loneliness.
Context
The band is also described as part of the “Big Four” of post-grunge, alongside Creed, Silverchair and Candlebox.
