Bueno Bros
Bueno Bros is a group from Peckham, United Kingdom, active between 1988 and 1991 and made up of Craig Logan, Luke Goss and Matt Goss. The act is associated with rock, synth-pop and teen pop. It is also tagged with minimal, electronic, IDM, glitch and minimal techno.
Background and activity
The group has worked as radio DJs for years and also produces its own music. It DJs across Europe and performs live in a range of settings. Over time it builds a career around both club work and recorded releases.
Remixes, releases and collaborations
In 2010 Bueno Bros creates remixes for the Polish band HEY for the Re-MURPED! album and later in the same year plays live dates on tour with the band, also appearing on stage as a guest act. In summer 2011 it releases the B_CIDER EP on Pink Kong Records. One of its remixes appears on Novika's Mixfinder release on Kayax, and that album receives a Fryderyk nomination for Best Dance & Electronic Album 2011.
During 2012 the group makes further remixes in Poland, including work on Brodka's LAX EP, which is recorded at Red Bull Studios in Los Angeles. A remix also appears on Pets Recordings' compilation Friends Will Carry You Home Too, alongside Catz n Dogz, James Yuill, Martin Dawson, Maribou State, Pedestrian and others. Other releases listed for the act include EARMS and the 11 EP.
Live work and other projects
Bueno Bros supports and plays with a long list of DJs, including Caribou, Booka Shade, Skream, Superpitcher, Martyn, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and David Caretta. It also begins a long-term collaboration with the fashion duo Paprocki & Brzozowski, working on their fashion shows. The group performs at festivals including Heineken Open'er, Audioriver and The Great Escape, and also joins the line-up of the Męskie Granie tour in Poland.
