Brit Floyd
Brit Floyd is a UK-based Pink Floyd tribute group formed in 2010. Its stage presentation uses a large light show, projections and inflatables, and is loosely modelled on Pink Floyd’s 1994 The Division Bell Tour, often known as the “Pulse” tour.
Origins
The group develops out of a split in The Australian Pink Floyd Show, and its original name is The British Pink Floyd Show before being shortened to Brit Floyd. The act is made up of musicians who have all performed with The Australian Pink Floyd Show.
Line-up
The group includes Damian Darlington on musical direction, guitar, lap steel and vocals; Ian Cattell on bass guitar and vocals; Bobby Harrison on guitar and vocals; Rob Stringer on keyboards and vocals; Rick Benbow on keyboards; Arran Ahmun on drums; Carl Brunsdon on saxophones, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, percussion, keyboards and clarinet; Emily Jollands, Amy Smith, Jacquie Williams and Ola Bienkowska on vocals, with Amy Smith also on percussion. Gareth Darlington works on sound design and front of house engineering, and Bryan Kolupski handles animation, graphics, video and photography. Thomas Ashbrook is also listed as a member.
