Brasy is a Polish a cappella quartet from Bytom. The group emerges from the tradition of Polish sea songs associated with the sailing movement, which gives young Poles a way to hear songs from tall ship crews around the world and adapt them as songs of resistance and freedom during the communist period.

Brasy sing and write songs of the sea, drawing on that historical background to remember the struggles and sacrifices of earlier generations, including their parents and grandparents. Their work sits within the Polish shanty tradition and the broader category of maritime folk singing.
