Bottle of Moonshine is a Belgian ska and reggae group from Turnhout, active from 2003 to 2017. The band performs a mix of traditional ska, rocksteady, reggae, soul, jazz and early funk.

Line-up

The group’s members include Wannes Jacobs, Hanne Peetermans, Stijn Van Heertum, Kris Van Hees, Toon Verdonck and Thomas Deckx. In the band’s nine-piece line-up, Kris Van Hees plays trumpet, Wannes Jacobs baritone saxophone, Stijn Van Heertum trombone, and Thomas Deckx drums. The wider line-up also includes Mathijs Duyck on tenor saxophone, Jort Verdick on alto saxophone, Jef Verdick on percussion, Lander Wynants on guitar, Pieter De Witte on bass, and Martijn Van Den Broek on keys.

In 2010, Bottle of Moonshine releases its first EP, Never Trust The Suits.
