Boris Grebenshikov, also known as BG, is a Russian rock and singer-songwriter from Sankt-Peterburg, Russia. He is best known for founding Aquarium in 1972 with Anatoly “George” Gunitsky. His name is also associated with Аквариум, Русско-абиссинский оркестр, Поп-механика and Террариум.

He writes and releases songs in Russian rock and related singer-songwriter styles, and his catalogue includes more than 500 songs. Among his English-language recordings are Radio London and Radio Silence.
