Bong

Bong is a British doom metal band from Newcastle upon Tyne, active since 2005. The group plays within doom metal, drone, drone metal, jam band and psychedelic rock, and is associated with drone, psychedelic, sludge and drone doom.

Line-up

The band consists of Benjamin Freeth, Pete Ryde, Mike Smith, David Terry and Mike Vest. Earlier descriptions of the group name Mike Smith on drums, Dawn Terry on bass, Mike Vest on guitar and Ben Freeth on sitar.

Bong has a self-titled demo, Bethmoora on EP, a 7-inch split release with Gnod, a 12-inch split release with Quttinirpaaq, and a number of live albums.
