Bombay Show Pig

Bombay Show Pig is a Dutch indie rock duo formed by guitarist Mathias Janmaat and drummer Linda van Leeuwen. The act begins as a trio and later becomes a duo, with Janmaat and van Leeuwen taking on lead vocals themselves.

Releases and recording

The band releases an early EP, Baby, It's A Face, which is produced by Tjeerd Bomhof. It later records its debut album with producer Simon Akkermans of C-mon and Kypski at Kytopia in Utrecht, then travels to New York to mix the record with Eli Janney of Girls Against Boys, who also works with The Rapture, Holy Fuck, Ryan Adams and Hooverphonic. Bombay Show Pig also releases Vulture / Provider on Kytopia Records.

Touring and radio play

After the first EP, the duo tours in Holland, Belgium and the Balkans. The single Curve Ball is played by Dutch radio stations 3FM, via 3VOOR12 Radio, and Kink FM. A new live set debuts at Noorderslag 2012, after which the band tours again.

Mathias Janmaat handles vocals, guitar and samples, while Linda van Leeuwen handles vocals, drums, samples and keys.
