Bo Bruce is an English singer-songwriter from Marlborough, United Kingdom. Born in 1984 and raised in Wiltshire, she is the daughter of the Earl of Cardigan and holds the title Lady Catherine Anna Brudenell-Bruce.

Career

Bruce appears on Channel 4's Orange unsignedAct in 2009, where she finishes in fourth place. She then performs frequently and independently releases her self-written EP Search The Night in December 2010.

In 2012 she auditions for BBC talent show The Voice UK. In her blind audition she sings David Guetta and Usher's "Without You", and will.i.am and Danny O'Donoghue turn for her. She chooses Team Danny, saying she feels she has the most in common with him.

In her first live show on 5 May 2012, Bruce sings Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" and goes through to the next round by public vote. Kate Bush later praises the performance publicly. Bruce reaches the final on 2 June 2012, where she sings "Nothing Compares 2 U", performs with Danny O'Donoghue, and then sings Coldplay's "Charlie Brown". She finishes as runner-up alongside Tyler James, behind Leanne Mitchell.

Releases

Bruce's debut album, Before I Sleep, is released in 2013.
