Black Daniel

Black Daniel is a three-piece rock group made up of brothers Luke and Lamik2000, who are from London, and Craig Louis Higgins Jnr, who is from New York via Cape Cod. The three meet in Manhattan through a friend on the dancefloor of a Lower East Side disco, and they discover a shared interest in animal tranquilisers and long walks in the rain. Before the band forms, the brothers tour the United States as DJs while Craig Louis Higgins Jnr handles tour management, and the group then begins performing together.

The band’s live history is associated with stage invasions in Japan, cowbell solos, bloodied microphones, blow-up dolls, leather pant experiments, Uncle Warren’s trumpet, wigs and wood nymphs. Black Daniel is described as a rock act, with indie, garage rock and rock among its tags.
