Big Joan

Big Joan

Big Joan are a four-piece Anglo-German band based in Bristol, UK. Their sound is punk, with a bass-heavy approach that draws on alternative rock, electronica and industrial music. They play both free parties and rave-oriented club nights, as well as venues on the indie circuit.

The group releases much of its music through its own Blood Red Sounds imprint, although it also issues recordings on other labels. Blood Red Sounds also releases music by acts including Mooz, Geisha and Hunting Lodge.

Their discography includes Other People's Fights, an EP on Sink & Stove Records; Insects & Engines, a full-length release on Blood Red Sounds; The Flood, an EP on Death$ucker Recordings; and The Long, Slow Death of Big Joan, another Blood Red Sounds album.
