Betty Boo

Betty Boo is the stage name of Alison Moira Clarkson, a British dance music singer-songwriter from Kensington, United Kingdom. She is known as an English singer, songwriter and pop-rap artist whose work spans club, dance, electronic and hip hop styles.

She first reaches mainstream attention in the late 1980s and early 1990s through a collaboration with The Beatmasters. After that, her solo career produces several chart-placing singles, including Doin' The Do, which becomes her best-known hit in 1990.

She is also associated with WigWam and Hit & Run, and releases music through Betty Boo Records Ltd.
