Ben Proudlove is an Australian DJ and promoter who performs both solo and as a member of Superfly DJs. He plays club nights and festival dates in the UK and abroad, and is signed to Liverpool-based Beatbox Agency.

Career

Proudlove plays across the UK, with appearances at clubs including Chibuku Shake Shake and Sankeys. He also performs at festivals such as Creamfields, Wakestock and the Isle of Wight Festival. Outside the UK, he plays in Japan, New Zealand, Ibiza and Italy, including dates in Tokyo, Niseko, Queenstown, San Antonio and Aosta.

He holds UK residencies in Liverpool and London, and is described as an integral part of the Superfly promotion team. In that role, he hosts dance music events and presents selectors including The Freestylers, Duke Dumont, Koma & Bones and The Glimmer Twins.

Events and collaborations

Proudlove has run Thames boat parties and Ibiza workers' parties, hosted après-ski bars, and opened and closed festivals. He also shares booths with a wide range of acts including The Klaxons, Grandmaster Melle Mel, High Contrast, Erol Alkan, Digitalism, DJ Yoda and Alex Metric.

Style and projects

His sets cover minimal, tech house, deep house, indie dance and techno. He also runs a monthly live-mix series called Sessions on his website, which receives plaudits from NME.
