Belouis Some

Belouis Some is the recording name of Neville Keighley, a British new wave and synth-pop singer-songwriter born in 1959. He is active in the 1980s and later releases music under his own name as a solo artist.

Career

He has a small number of charting and near-charting singles in the 1980s. His best-known songs include “Some People”, “Round and Round” and “Imagination”. “Imagination” reaches number 17 on the UK Singles Chart, while “Some People” reaches number 33 in the UK and number 67 in the US. “Round and Round” appears on the soundtrack album to the film Pretty in Pink.

His albums include Some People (1985), Belouis Some (1987) and Living Your Life (1993). His singles include an initial 1984 version of “Target Practice”, followed by a 1986 reissue, as well as “Let It Be With You”, “Animal Magic”, “Some Girls”, “Sometimes”, “Something She Said” and “Let Me Love You For Tonight”.
