Bear Claw

Bear Claw is a math rock group from Carbondale and Chicago, active since 2003. The line-up includes Scott Picco. One version of the band is a three-piece Chicago rock group produced by Steve Albini, built around two basses, drums and vocals. Its sound is described as drawing on post-hardcore and related guitar-band traditions, with vocals in the style of Fugazi or Jawbox. The band’s naming is shared with another act of the same name, a folk group from Austin, Texas.
