Beak
Beak is a name used by more than one act. One is a mid-1990s jazzcore band from San Francisco, in the United States. That group releases the Airplane 7-inch single and a full-length album called Autoselfreplicationalism.
Another Beak is a four-piece atmospheric sludge metal band from Chicago, in the United States. It is described as an atmospheric sludge or post-metal act that combines death metal, hardcore, doom metal, sludge metal and thrash metal in its sound. This version of Beak releases the EP EYRIE, a five-song, 25-minute set with sludge and post-metal characteristics.
A third Beak is presented in mythic terms, with a story about being brought into existence by a four-headed green dragon named Ricardo II the Powerful and learning guitar on a rare 14-string Mendosa Nomad instrument. That account also describes the entity as using computer technology and Goldwave to record and distribute music freely.
