Basshound is a band associated with the Baltimore and Washington, DC music scene. It develops out of a long-running group of friends who have made music together for years.

Style and instrumentation

The group blends funk, electronic, folk and rock, and works with a lineup of drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals. Its music draws on different styles and shifts between them rather than staying within a single genre.
