Bambooman is a producer from Yorkshire, based in Leeds, in the United Kingdom. He works across a number of concurrent projects and releases music under different guises while also writing his own material.

He is signed to Sonic Router and has two EPs on the label. These releases show a production style that is clean but also densely layered. His work on the EP Dulcet is one of the key examples of that approach.

Bambooman also produces for vocalists and collaborates with other artists. His production is heard on London vocalist Segilola’s debut EP for King Deluxe, Somewhere Along The Line, where his detailed production is a central feature.

His music draws on hip hop and uses found textures, field recordings and unusual effects. It is supported by tastemakers including Gilles Peterson and Tom Ravenscroft on BBC 6Music, Kutmah on NTS, and Jon K of Hoya:Hoya. He also performs live alongside artists such as Jon Hopkins, MF DOOM, Samiyam, The Gaslamp Killer and Venetian Snares.
