Baby D is a London-based UK crossover pop and breakbeat hardcore group active from 1990. The group is associated with dance, rave, Euro house and breakbeat techno, and is best known for the UK number one single Let Me Be Your Fantasy in 1992.

Line-up and roles

The group includes Floyd Dyce, Baby D, Claudio Galdez and Nino. Dorothy Fearon performs as Baby D and provides vocals, while Nino contributes vocals, MC duties and keyboards. Claudio Galdez plays additional keyboards and windsynth. Floyd Dyce writes and produces for the group, and is also credited as a keyboardist on occasion, especially in the early period.

Singles and chart success

Alongside Let Me Be Your Fantasy, the group has two other Top 10 singles: I Need Your Loving, a cover of The Korgis’ Everybody’s Gotta Learn Sometime, and So Pure. The group also has a number of other less successful singles.
