Avery Anna is an American singer-songwriter from Flagstaff, Arizona. Born in 2004, she works in contemporary country and country music and is signed to Warner Music Nashville.

Anna begins singing at ten and also learns guitar and piano at an early age. Her music combines country with rock and acoustic pop, and her songs focus on confessional writing drawn largely from her own experiences. She gains a wider audience in 2021 by posting cover performances on TikTok, including songs by Patsy Cline, Willie Nelson, Taylor Swift and Kelsea Ballerini, often filmed in her bathtub.

Recorded music

Her first release is the extended play Mood Swings, issued in 2022. The project contains songs inspired by different emotional states and personal situations. In 2024 she releases her debut album Breakup Over Breakfast through Warner Music Nashville. She co-writes all seventeen tracks on the album, including the singles “Make It Look Easy”, “Two Sides of the Story”, “Blonde”, “Breakup Over Breakfast” and “Girl Next Door”. The album also includes collaborations with Parmalee, Dylan Marlowe, and the songwriting trio Hillary Lindsey, Liz Rose and Lori McKenna, known as the Love Junkies.

Her single “Narcissist” attracts attention after becoming popular on social media. She also features on “Indigo”, a duet with Sam Barber that is co-written by the two artists. The song reaches the top ten of Hot Country Songs and the top fifty of the Billboard Hot 100, and it charts in several international markets. Anna also appears on the title track of Barber’s album Restless Mind. In 2025 she releases “Mr. Predictable” and then “Danny Don’t”, a song inspired by a fan’s experience with mental health.

Live appearances and profile

Anna opens for Josh Turner, Parmalee and Martina McBride in 2022. She makes her Grand Ole Opry debut in the same year. Her broader profile is also shaped by her online following and by her use of personal, story-led songwriting.

Later work

She launches an initiative at her concerts in which fans write down things they are struggling with as a way of letting them go, and her second album Let Go Letters is named after that idea. Each song on the album is based on one of those letters.
