Ashnikko is the stage name of Ashton Nicole Casey, an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer and model from Greensboro, North Carolina. Raised in Greensboro, she grows up listening to country music and Slipknot through her parents. As a teenager, her family moves to Estonia for her father’s studies, where she spends a year before relocating to Riga, Latvia. She is based in London, UK.

Career

Ashnikko first appears with the SoundCloud-only single KROKODIL in 2016, produced by Raf Riley. She follows it with the EP Sass Pancakes in 2017, also with Riley, then releases the EP Unlikeable in 2018 and Hi It’s Me in 2019.

Her 2019 single Stupid, featuring Yung Baby Tate, gains viral popularity on TikTok and becomes one of her best-known releases. In 2021, she releases the mixtape DEMIDEVIL, which includes the TikTok-popular tracks Daisy and Slumber Party, featuring Princess Nokia.

In 2023, she releases her debut studio album, WEEDKILLER. Her second album, Smoochies, follows in 2025.

Songwriting and collaborations

Ashnikko co-writes Boss Bitch with Doja Cat for the film Birds of Prey. She also has a song, Paint The Town Blue, that forms part of the story of League of Legends.
