Ashley McBryde is an American country music singer-songwriter from Mammoth Spring and Nashville. Born in 1983, she works in contemporary country, country, country pop and country rock.

Recording career

McBryde releases her self-titled debut album independently, followed by a second independent album, Elsebound. She later issues the extended play Jalopies & Expensive Guitars through Road Life Records.

Major label releases and recognition

In 2017, McBryde signs with Warner Music Nashville and releases her major label debut album, Girl Going Nowhere, the following year. The album earns a Grammy nomination for Best Country Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards. She is named New Artist of the Year at the 53rd Annual Country Music Association Awards. Her second major label album, Never Will, follows.
