Archie Bronson Outfit are a rock and indie group from Bath, United Kingdom. The band consists of Dorian Hobday on bass and guitar, Sam Windett on vocals and lead guitar, and Mark Cleveland on drums. They form in Bath after the members meet at Kingswood School in the early 1990s.

Style and releases

The group is described as an English blues-rock band, and their work sits within rock and indie. Their second album, Derdang Derdang, is recorded in Nashville in 2005 and produced by Jacquire King. It later draws strong reviews, with UNCUT and Mojo giving it four stars and Time Out awarding it five. Mojo ranks the album fifth in its end-of-year poll for 2006.

Live work and recognition

Archie Bronson Outfit perform a showcase at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas in 2006. They also tour Europe with labelmates Clearlake in April 2006 and appear at the T-Mobile Transmission television event in April 2007. In January 2007, they win the South Bank/Times Breakthrough Award. The band is also known for performing live with an illuminated plastic goose on stage.
