Aon

Aon is the recording name of Jevgenijs Načiss, a sound designer and composer from Jūrmala, Latvia. He begins releasing work in 2011 and combines dense shoegaze-style guitar textures with space-like synth tones, arpeggios, sampled and re-sampled sounds, processed field recordings, and rhythm parts that draw on minimal ritual percussion and post-dubstep. His background includes work as a post/prog-rock bass guitarist and professional studio experience.

Releases

His debut album, Mūžību Meklējot, appears in 2014 on the Latvian industrial music label Sturm. The album is presented as a CD and digital release on Bandcamp. It is described as a work about the search for harmony and a struggle with inner demons.
