Answer Back

Answer Back is a power-pop trio from Worcester. The band forms at the start of 2011 when guitarist and songwriter Oli Grizzell joins with bassist Jim Smith. Their aim is to write music that encourages a change of attitude in teenagers and students.

By February 2011, Grizzell and Smith have written their first four original songs: It Could Be A Lie, Hold You Tonight, Please Don't Go and One More Time. The band deliberately aims for a rocky-sounding pop style, which places them in the power pop genre.

After forming as a duo, they add drummer and vocalist Chris Lewin, who brings further songs including For Now. With the lineup complete, Answer Back continue as a Worcester-based band.
