Answer Back is a Worcester-based Power-pop trio built to leave catchy, likeable music embedded in your head for many days, inspiring good behaviour, smart, sensible decisions and the momentum needed to get you through the day. Answer Back began at the beginning of 2011 when guitarist and songwriter Oli Grizzell teamed up with bassist Jim Smith with the aim to use their music to encourage a change of attitude in teenagers and students. By February 2011, the pair had composed their first four orignal songs namely, It Could Be A Lie, Hold You Tonight, Please Don't Go and One More Time. Deliberately targeting a 'rocky' sounding pop landed them on the genre of Power Pop. Both being based in Worcester, the pair soon acquired the highly talented drummer and vocalist Chris Lewin who brought onboard further tunes such as For Now. As of now, with their lineup complete and the objectives set, the band are charging forward into the future with high hopes and ambitious thinking.
