Angel At My Table

Angel At My Table is a Luxembourgish pop band active from 2009 to 2015. The group forms in Luxembourg in early 2009, after the idea for the project first rises in the summer of 2008. It brings together Adriel on bass, Joe on drums and Tom on guitar, who are former members of Javies, and Joelle on vocals.

Early development and line-up

The band starts when Adriel, Joe and Tom look for a lead singer and find Joelle, whose voice completes the line-up. She joins despite having little previous experience, but quickly performs on larger stages. The group is described as a female-fronted act with a pop-rock sound, and the available tags also associate it with rock, emo and pop punk.

Local success

Angel At My Table gains strong attention in Luxembourg soon after forming. Its first single, city romance, reaches radio in February and stays in the top three charts for 12 weeks. The song helps the band build a local following, with interviews, radio play and growing social media communities contributing to its profile.

Release activity

The band releases its debut EP, city romance, at the Melusina Club in Luxembourg City. The release takes place at a sold-out event. The group is also linked with live festival appearances in Luxembourg.
